Leadership

Founding Pastor & Global Chairman

DR A.R. Bernard

Pastor A.R. Bernard is a visionary pastor, leading one of New York's largest houses of worship, Christian Cultural Center (CCC). With over 37,000 members, CCC is a rapidly growing church that embraces individuals from all walks of life. Rev. Bernard's teachings dynamically present the wisdom of Christ in various aspects of culture. His practical approach, rooted in a traditional biblical perspective, offers guidance on world affairs, politics, pop culture, and family matters.

Pastor Jamaal Bernard Snr

Senior Pastor

Jamaal Bernard is a minister and prominent leader within the Christian hemisphere. In 2025, he would evolve from his initial role to being installed as the new official Senior Pastor over the Christian Cultural Center organization. This new position immediately places Jamaal amongst some of the most prominent pastors in all the United States, and allows for him to continue growing as both a leader as well as a minister in the body of Christ. Before becoming the Senior Pastor of one the most prestigious church organizations in the nation, Jamaal occupied a bevy of different leadership roles within the ministry. Some of the positions he has operated in his career include Chief of Operations, Director of Public safety, Leader of Unapologetic Ambassadors For Christ, founder of the C3 Youth organization, and many more.

What We Believe

We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen.

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, one in Being with the Father.

Through him all things were made.

For us men and for our salvation, he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit, he was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man.

For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered, died, and was buried. On the third day he rose again in fulfillment of the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated on the right hand of the Father.

He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified.

He has spoken through the Prophets.

We believe in one holy universal and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.

DYNAMIC ORTHODOXY

CCC Is a fusion of Cathedral, a touch of Smithsonian, and College Campus—in other words, the integration of the sacred, the institutional, and the intellectual to create a dynamic worship and spiritual growth experience.

INSTITUTIONAL

In partnership with Seminaries and Cultural Institutions CCC has a gallery that displays original and ancient Biblical literature, manuscripts and artifacts making it a cultural as well as spiritual destination. With a clear vision, mission and organizational philosophy, structure and programs, CCC is a model of order, consistency, spiritual growth and stability.

SACRED

The worship space at CCC is vibrant, modern and aesthetically energizing. The worship experience is dynamic yet reverential, relevant yet true to the orthodoxy of the Christian faith. The campus is a "third place" where people find community apart from work and home. In this "third space" people are welcomed into a life of spiritual growth and personal mission.

INTELLECTUAL

CCC's vision is, of the church, as a learning center. Besides its Spiritual Life Institute and Center for Biblical Studies, every Sunday the sanctuary is converted into a college classroom where spiritual seekers, novice and mature Christians of all ages can experience constant renewal of spirit, mind and body.

History

Christian Cultural Center began in 1978 as a small Bible study held in a Brooklyn apartment — a humble gathering grounded in faith, vision, and the belief that church should be a place for everyone. That spirit of inclusion and excellence has remained the heartbeat of CCC ever since.

From its early storefront days to its expansion into Christian Life Center, and eventually into Christian Cultural Center, the church has grown in size and impact — now spanning multiple campuses, reaching tens of thousands each week, and influencing lives across the globe. At the center of it all is a commitment to spiritual formation, cultural engagement, and community transformation.

Over the decades, CCC has become more than a church — it’s a movement. A sanctuary of worship. A hub of education. A platform for leadership. Through schools, outreach programs, arts initiatives, and civic partnerships, the church has carried the Gospel far beyond the four walls.

Today, CCC continues to thrive under a multigenerational vision — one that honors the past while building the future. As we move forward in faith, we remain committed to loving God, serving people, and transforming culture… together.
